Colorado 2019
Twenty-eight Concert Choir members, eight chaperones, and four support staff travelled to Denver, Colorado, June 21-28, 2019 to generate a music video of "America the Beautiful" and to participate in the Sing-a-Mile-High Children's Choral Festival under the direction of Rollo Dilworth.
Early in the week, choristers enjoyed kayaking, paddle boating, hiking, fishing, and playing games at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp. They also enjoyed excursions to Garden of the Gods and to the summit of Pikes Peak, all locations providing fitting backdrops for cinematography. Mid-week the group transitioned to Colorado Christian University where they interacted with other children's choirs and prepared for a mass choir concert at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, University of Denver.
