American Choral Director's Association - 2022

For the sixth time since the year 2000, SVCC was honored to have been chosen by blind audition to perform at the American Choral Directors Association Southern Region Conference February 24-26, 2023. Fifty-eight members of SVCC's Concert Choir, along with 21 dedicated staff and chaperones traveled to Raleigh, NC for the conference. Although masks were required inside of the Meymandi Concert Hall, both audience and singers were eager to be performing in-person again after two years of navigating through more strict protocols. SVCC's engaging performance was met with a standing ovation and applause that continued until every singer had exited the stage.
